Mailchimp and Shopify break up

On May 12th the Mailchimp app will stop working. On a recent statement Mailchimp announced that the company decided to pull the app from Shopify marketplace. Email marketers and Shopify store owners have started the search for a new service that would keep the juice flowing.

Although Shopify referred a number of services that could substitute Mailchimp, the end user still needs to calculate the advantages and shortcomings of a migration. We studied the options for our clients and we decided to go for a migration from Mailchimp to Klaviyo.

Accelerate Business Growth with Klaviyo + Shopify

We’ve been using Klaviyo for our clients for over a year now, and I can say that Klaviyo is probably the best email marketing tool for small and medium businesses. In the following paragraphs I will highlight some of the advantages of using Klaviyo.

First of all I want to say that Klaviyo is an all-in-one platform. With Klaviyo you get automations, regular email campaigns, behavioral pop-up to collect leads, sign-up forms, dynamic coupons integration, cart abandonment, browse abandonment, personalized content, advanced analytics, unlimited A/B testing, transactional emails. Yes, all that comes in a single package. You will benefit from all these features at an affordable monthly pricing.

If you purchased all these features separately, you would pay much more. On top of that, you would deal with several services to get the same performance out of your email channel.

Klaviyo helps Shopify stores drive more sales with super-targeted, highly relevant email, Facebook and Instagram marketing. Klaviyo’s one-click integration with Shopify makes it fast and easy to get all of your information over to Shopify and start growing.

Klaviyo vs. Mailchimp

As I’ve already said, Klaviyo offers more features than Mailchimp with no hidden fees. You might hear differently from Mailchimp, but I’ve been there. Every extra feature on Mailchimp will add up to your monthly plan.
